Phil K. Thompson was born in Southwest City, Missouri, on October 5, 1947. Mr. Thompson graduated from Southwest Missouri State University in 1969 with a B.S. in business, and from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1972 with a J.D.

Mr. Thompson served as a Judge of the Court of Appeals, Temporary Division No. 27, from 1981-1986; Member of the Oklahoma Title Standards Committee; served on the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Professional Responsibility Tribunal from 1995-1999; and represented the City of Jay, Oklahoma, for 35 years. He has been rated AV Preeminent since 1986 for his professional excellence.

Thompson’s practice areas include banking, real estate, probate and estate planning. Phil has represented Grand Savings Bank, The Corner Stone Bank, Arvest Bank, Grand River Abstract & Title Company and Delaware County Abstract.

Thompson spends his free time golfing and fishing Grand Lake, where he lives with his wife of 50 years, Gretchen. The pair have two children, and four grandchildren.
